About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Circolo Vela Canottieri Domaso is a private sailing and motorboat club located north of the village of Domaso, at the foot of Vercana on the shore of Lake Como. The marina offers safe and easy mooring for both sailing and motor boats.
You can reach the marina on VHF channel 12. There is a floating pontoon where you can stop for a few hours to use the club's facilities and the bar. For visiting sailors there are 5 berths available for a fee from around 25 EUR per day (max 7 days), plus 2 free temporary moorings (max 2 hours). For longer stays, mooring buoys are available, but you must first contact the club manager by radio or telephone. The club has a total of 28 berths under concession.
At the quay you will find water and electricity. There are toilets and showers, a mobile crane with a 2-ton capacity, and a slipway for dinghies. A chandlery is located nearby, and you will also find a bar, a small grocery shop, wifi and car parking at the club.
The area is known for afternoon breezes from the third and fourth quadrant, often reaching 15-20 knots, making these waters a popular and safe racing area with international events. A petrol station is located about 1200 metres away along the SS340 heading south.
