City Marina IJdock

City Marina IJdock is a city marina in the heart of Amsterdam, just a stone's throw from the bustling city centre, the historic canals and the charm of the Jordaan district. The marina sits quietly by the water at IJdok 2a, about 15 minutes' sailing from Oranjesluizen.

Visiting sailors can call or send a WhatsApp message to the harbour master no more than 3 days before arrival, as advance booking is not possible and the marina is usually fully occupied. Water depth in the marina is about 5-6 metres. If your boat is higher than roughly 3.5 metres above the waterline, the bridge must be opened by a bridge operator from Waternet, whose number is posted on the bridge and visible from the waiting pontoon; only moor at the berth assigned by the harbour master. The harbour office is located under the large staircase between the buildings and is open daily from 10:00 to 18:00.

Throughout the marina, drinking water, shore power and wifi are available. At the harbour office there are both ladies' and men's showers and toilets for guests and permanent berth holders. The marina is secured with a fence and code lock, with CCTV covering the whole area. Charging electric boats can often be arranged but must always be agreed in advance due to extra costs.
