About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 30 September 2026CNK Leimersheim e.V. (Club Nautico Karlsruhe-Leimersheim) is a club-run marina on the Rhine at Leimersheim in Rhineland-Palatinate, located around river kilometre 373 on the left bank. The club's 135-metre jetty was built in 1983 and has been progressively upgraded since then.
The approach requires some care: vessels coming from upstream should hug the sheet-pile wall closely, as gravel has built up from roughly the middle of the installation onward; from there you continue into the downstream part of the harbour. The facility is mostly locked, but the key is kept at the guest berth. According to one sailor's cruising account, the guest berth has in the past been free of charge, in exchange for a voluntary donation to the club.
Shore power and fresh water are available at the berths, and ashore there are good showers and clean toilets. There is also a slipway for launching and hauling out, plus a covered gathering area by the jetty.
Right across the road there is a Gaststätte (inn/restaurant), and further dining options can be found in the village of Leimersheim about 800 metres from the marina. The nearest fuel station is roughly 4 km away. Come alongside the sheet-pile wall and discover a friendly, club-run harbour in the heart of the German Rhine valley.
