About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 30 September 2026Approdo Turistico La Madonnina is a municipally run marina in Viareggio, situated along the final stretch of the Burlamacca Canal, in the heart of the so-called Tuscan Nautical District - one of the world's most important concentrations of boatyards and nautical companies. Since August 2019 the marina has been managed by the municipal company iCARE, and together with the Ceina and Antonini docks it offers more than 500 berths for small and medium-sized boats.
Berths are available both on an annual basis and for shorter guest stays, and the marina serves as a gateway for sailors arriving from the sea who wish to explore the city of Viareggio, the Versilia coast and the Tuscan archipelago.
Its location at the heart of the Tuscan Nautical District gives it close ties to the entire nautical service chain - from small boats to superyachts - thanks to the many shipyards and specialist companies in the surrounding area.
