About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Jachthaven De Lemsterpoort lies right next to the historic little town of Sloten in Friesland, in the middle of the lake district with access to the Slotermeer, Grote Brekken, Tjeukemeer, Heegermeer and IJsselmeer, reachable within 30-60 minutes' sailing. The marina has 300 permanent berths and 50 guest berths.
Maximum depth in the harbour is about 1.9 metres. The harbourmaster lives on site, and a staff member goes round the guests in the morning and afternoon/evening to collect the mooring fee. Most berths have water and electricity.
The marina offers sanitary facilities including 10 showers (coin-operated, 1 euro) in a new sanitary building from 2019. There is a boat crane for vessels up to 24 tonnes and a mast crane for stepping and unstepping masts. Next to the marina is a small playground for children.
It is only a two-minute walk over the footbridge to the centre of Sloten, where you'll find monumental buildings, restaurants, pleasant café terraces, shops and a supermarket. Tie up at the guest berth and stroll the short distance over the bridge into Sloten's cosy centre with its restaurants and shops.
