De Klompskippers

De Klompskippers is a marina by the village of Britsum, beautifully situated along the Stienser vaart with views over the Frisian countryside. The marina has room for just over a hundred permanent berths, and visiting sailors are welcome during the season at the green quay.

The depth in the harbour is 1.20 m. On arrival you can call the harbourmaster. The guest fee depends on the boat's length: up to 7 m costs €7.50 per night, 7-10 m costs €10, and over 10 m costs €15 - plus €1.65 per person in tourist tax. The price includes shore power, water, showers and toilets. There is no wifi in the harbour.

The marina offers showers and toilets, a water point and electricity connection at the berths, a free slipway and a spacious free parking area. The Tienstra family operates a crane with a capacity of up to 8 tonnes, as well as winter storage and repair services. There is a waste container, with the key available from the harbourmaster.

The surroundings are historic, with Martenastate in Koarnjum and Dekema State in Jelsum known for their stinzenflora, plus lovely cycling routes. Children can visit the petting farm Donia State in Stiens. Tie up at the green quay and explore the Frisian countryside on foot or by bike.
