About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026It Spoardok is a small, peaceful guest harbour in the village of Finkum (Feinsum), located on the Feinsumerfeart, part of the northern Elfstedenroute in Friesland. The harbour has room for about six boats and sits right next to a playground and a jeu de boules court.
The guest berths are along the long side of the harbour next to the grass field, while the berths on the opposite side (between the poles) are reserved for permanent berth holders from Finkum. The guest fee is only €5 per night per boat, regardless of boat size or number of people aboard. On arrival, visiting sailors are asked to phone the harbourmaster, as indicated on the sign at the harbour entrance. Canoeists may spend the night in their own tent on the grass field.
The harbour has been newly rebuilt but offers no extra facilities such as toilets, showers, electricity or fresh water - none of these are available here. However, there are good cycling and walking opportunities in the surrounding area, as well as fishing and swimming directly from the harbour.
Groceries and restaurants can be found in Stiens, about 3-4 kilometres away. Tie up at the long guest berth, enjoy the quiet and nature, and set off on foot or by bike to explore the charming Frisian village.
