About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 30 September 2026De Knar is the marina run by Watersportvereniging Flevo in Harderwijk. The club owns the harbour, located at Knarweg 4-6, 3846 AH Harderwijk. It lies directly on the fairway, close to the aqueduct between Wolderwijd and Veluwemeer. The new marina was completed in November 2015 after the old harbour was relocated and rebuilt.
Coming from Zeewolde, you'll find the marina to starboard before the aqueduct; coming from Elburg, you pass through the aqueduct and the harbour is then to port. Keep to port past the apartment building 'Vuurtoren' and continue to the crane, where you can moor while the harbour office assigns you a berth. No reservations are taken. During the sailing season, visiting sailors are warmly welcome.
Electricity and water are available on the jetties, with sanitary facilities both at the clubhouse 'De Kop van de Knar' and at the harbour office. Both locations also have an accessible toilet and shower. The harbour office has a room with a washing machine and dryer. Wifi is free throughout the marina. A pump-out station is located at and under the crane along with waste bins, and there is an environmental station at the exit. Bikes are available for guests to borrow. The clubhouse houses a restaurant with a bar, and on the adjoining terrace you can enjoy a fresh cup of coffee, a cooling drink or a light meal. There's a playground for children, with a bouncy castle when weather permits, and a roped-off swimming area within the harbour basin.
