About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Molecaten Jachthaven Flevostrand is located on the Veluwemeer near Harderwijk, in the heart of the Netherlands' waterways with access to the Randmeren and the inland waters of Flevoland. The modern, Blue Flag-certified marina has around 850 berths for sailing and motor boats up to 20 metres, plus a dedicated catamaran beach.
The marina is open to visiting yachtsmen from 1 April to 1 November. Guest berths cost from €11.45 per night for a boat up to 6 metres, plus €2.45 per extra metre; you must vacate the berth by 11:00 on the day of departure. Stay 7, 14 or 21 nights or more and you get 5, 10 or 15% discount respectively. Using the slipway costs €19.10 per stay.
The marina offers sanitary buildings with toilets, spacious (family) showers, washing cabins and a laundry room with card payment. There is a fuel station, pump-out for wastewater/bilge water, a slipway, a boat crane (up to 20 tonnes, by appointment only) and shore power available at the berths for an extra charge. Wi-Fi can be purchased. Guests can also use the park's restaurant Zuid Zoet Zout with a bar and terrace, a grocery shop and bicycle rental, plus a playground with an air trampoline for children.
Right nearby lies the charming former Zuiderzee town of Harderwijk, an ideal destination for a sail, and via the Lovink lock you can easily continue on to the Marker- and IJsselmeer.
