About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Jachthaven De Merenburger is located on the Meerburger Wetering waterway in Leidschendam and has space for around 100 boats with a maximum length of 8 metres and a maximum clearance height of 1.55-1.60 metres. Berths are let per season or per year, with the summer season running from 1 April to 1 November and the winter season from 1 November to 1 April; boats can also be stored ashore during winter.
The marina has a slipway, which is free to use for the marina's own customers, while non-customers pay €15. From the marina you can sail to the recreation area Vlietland, 900 metres away, which is popular among watersports enthusiasts and anglers. Via the Rijnschietkanaal (De Vliet) you reach the through-going waterways and can sail across large parts of the Netherlands; it takes about one and a half hours to reach Kagerplassen or Den Haag, and about an hour to Leiden Centrum.
The marina has camera and site surveillance around the clock to prevent theft.
Moor at Jachthaven De Merenburger and use the slipway to launch your boat before heading out to Vlietland or the through-going waterways.
