Jachthaven De Vlietopper

Jachthaven de Vlietopper is the home marina of Watersportvereniging Leidschendam e.o. and lies beautifully on the river Vliet, easily reached by boat, car or bike from Voorschoten via the blue cycle/foot bridge or the A4 motorway. The marina has ruim 300 berths for boats ranging from 6 to 17 metres, moored along side jetties or directly at the quayside.

The marina grounds are enclosed by an electric gate; visitors receive a code to open it. There is a slipway where boats can be launched and hauled out, plus a waste collection point for environmental disposal.

The modern clubhouse "De Landvast", opened in 2005, houses a bar with kitchen and a terrace overlooking the marina, where you can enjoy a snack and a drink. The ground floor has toilets and showers (€0.50 per shower) as well as a sanitary facility next to the building open around the clock. A washing machine and dryer are available (€5.00 including detergent, arranged with the harbour master), free drinking-water taps are found on the jetties, shore power is available at blue posts (€0.50 per kWh), and free WiFi is offered in the clubhouse. Pump-out and cleaning of chemical toilets is also possible.

Moor alongside one of the side jetties and step straight into the clubhouse for a bite to eat on the sunny terrace overlooking the marina.
