About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 28 September 2026Dirdal Båtforening is a small boating club and harbour in the village of Dirdal in Gjesdal Municipality in Rogaland, where the Frafjorden meets the main Høgsfjorden. The harbour is located at Dirdalsstranda.
If you want to berth as a visiting sailor, it must always be arranged in advance with the harbour master, and a guest berth costs 100 NOK per day. The berth is normally rented out for a maximum of three days at a time, and during high season the outer part of the service jetty is also used as an extra guest berth by agreement. The guest berth is very popular and is often booked out for much of the summer.
Within walking distance of the harbour you will find a farm shop and a café, as well as Dirdal Church, a small white long church from 1903 located in the village.
Planning a trip to Ryfylke? Remember to book the guest berth well in advance with the harbour master, as it fills up quickly during summer.
