About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 30 September 2026Doca de Belém is a river marina in Lisbon, located on the north bank of the Tagus in the historic Belém district, close to major maritime landmarks such as the Monument to the Discoveries, the Jerónimos Monastery and the Belém Tower. The marina is run by the Porto de Lisboa port authority and has capacity for 186 vessels up to 15 metres in length.
The marina can be reached on VHF channel 9, and reception is open 9am-1pm and 2pm-6pm daily, with closures on a few public holidays. Boats are berthed at floating footbridges with access to power and water.
On the pontoons you'll find drinking water and shore power, plus a fuel berth right at the quay. The marina collects waste and used oil, and there are bathroom facilities with showers as well as wifi. For boat maintenance there's mechanical hauling, a crane/travel lift and a workshop, so repairs and servicing can be handled on site. A restaurant is also located within the marina.
Within walking distance of some of Lisbon's most iconic sights, Doca de Belém is an ideal base for exploring the city - the Jerónimos Monastery and the Belém Tower, both UNESCO World Heritage sites, are just around the corner. Berth here and step straight from your boat into the historic heart of Belém.
