About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 30 September 2026Doca de Alcântara is a river marina in Lisbon, located on the Tagus in the Alcântara district. The marina has capacity for 376 boats, with places that allow vessels of 20 meters in length. According to the Portuguese tourism authorities, it is the second largest marina in Lisbon, surrounded by some of the capital's most famous clubs, restaurants and discotheques.
The marina can be reached on VHF channel 9. The office/reception is open 9 am–1 pm and 2 pm–6 pm on weekdays, weekends and holidays, though it closes on 1 January, Easter Sunday, 1 May and 25 December.
At the pontoons you'll find electricity and water supply, and the marina offers collection of waste and oils along with security and communication systems. Bathroom facilities with toilets and showers are available, plus a weather forecast service for visiting sailors. Wifi is also available, though one visiting sailor found the connection rather poor.
The marina sits just after the landmark Ponte 25 de Abril bridge, and it's only a short walk to the Alcântara district, where you'll find a small café. From there you can continue on towards the historic Bairro Alto. Tie up here and enjoy Lisbon's lively waterfront close to the bridge.
