About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 30 September 2026Domaso is a small marina on the western shore of Lake Como, right in front of the old fishing village of the same name. Marina di Domaso, inaugurated in 2012, offers 185 boat berths spread across five floating pontoons with automated access. The berths accommodate boats from around 5 to 9 metres in length.
The marina is monitored by 25 cameras, and staff also carry out daily checks on the boats to ensure guests' peace of mind. Besides the fixed berths, a small number of mooring buoys are available, suited to passing boats looking for a quick and convenient stop.
At the pontoons you'll find drinking water, shore power and full wifi coverage. There are toilets with hot showers as well as a private car park for guests. The marina also offers fuel, antifouling paintwork and minor repairs, and in winter boats can be hauled out into the marina's own storage yard. In cooperation with Nautica Domaso, the harbour has two cranes for launching and hauling out boats up to 8 tonnes, plus a boatyard offering fibreglass repairs, engine servicing and special hull work.
From the marina it's a short walk to the old town centre, with its arcaded houses along the waterfront bearing witness to Domaso's past as a fishing village. The town sits in a mild bay swept by the characteristic Breva breeze and is considered one of the lake's leading spots for windsurfing.
