About the harbour

Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 28 September 2026

Drøbak gjestehavn is a municipal guest harbour located centrally in the southern part of Drøbak, on the Drøbaksundet strait – the gateway to the innermost part of the Oslofjord. The harbour has 40 guest berths and is run by Frogn municipality.

The harbour is open all year round. Electricity is available at all berths year-round, while fresh water is only available from 1 April to 15 November and only when there is no frost. Advance booking of berths is not possible, and the maximum stay is three days. Information on prices, opening hours and shore power is posted on information boards in the harbour.

Ashore you'll find toilets, showers and electricity on the docks, as well as a laundry room. The harbour's own restaurant, Sjøstjernen, sits right by the water, and bicycle hire is available. There is a boat ramp in the harbour, and parking can be found by following the signage in Drøbak.

From the harbour it's a short walk to shops, cafés, galleries, the aquarium and the town square in Drøbak. The town is known for its old wooden houses and long history as a customs and trading post. In winter the area can freeze over, letting you bring out the skates right in the middle of the Christmas town. Tie up in Drøbak and explore both the harbour life and the historic coastal town on foot.
