About the harbour

Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026

Oscarsborg Gjestehavn lies on the west side of Kaholmene in the Drøbaksundet strait, next to the well-known Oscarsborg Fortress, and offers space for about 110 boats. The harbour is calm and family-friendly, run as a family business.

Harbour fees are paid via the Go Marina app or at the machine south of Havnekroa. Prices depend on boat length and season: in winter from 200 NOK per night (up to 27 ft) to 450-510 NOK for boats over 60 ft, and in summer from 270 NOK to 600-680 NOK. Daytime mooring for up to five hours costs from 50 NOK. Berths cannot be reserved in advance.

The harbour fee includes electricity (up to 600W per boat) and water at all jetties, unless there is a risk of frost. Free wifi is available under the name OBGJESTEHAVN with no password. On site you'll find toilets, showers (the access code is given once the fee is paid), Havnekroa, and since June 2024 also Oscarsborg Gjestehavns Spiseri to the north of the guest harbour. Waste can be disposed of in glass containers and a deposit-return machine.

Oscarsborg Fortress with its fortress museum sits right next to the harbour and is open year-round, with guided tours in summer. A ferry runs to Drøbak every hour. Tie up at one of the roughly 110 berths and walk straight up to the fortress, or enjoy dinner at the Spiseri by the water.
