About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Dun Laoghaire Marina sits in the historic harbour of Dun Laoghaire on the southern shore of Dublin Bay, with capacity for 820 boats from 6 to 46 metres and up to 240 tonnes displacement. The marina holds a Five Gold Anchor rating and can be accessed 24 hours a day by boats with up to 4 metres of draft.
The marina keeps watch on VHF channel 16 (as well as 37a and 80a) and has a fuel berth offering 95 octane unleaded petrol and diesel at "Trader's Wharf", opposite Pier AV1, dispensed during daylight hours. A holding-tank pump-out facility is available at the fuel berth, and shore power plus fresh water are supplied at service pillars on the pontoons. A dedicated emergency berth is located at the base of the access ramp for medical emergencies.
On site you'll find exceptionally high-quality toilets and showers available 24 hours a day free of charge, both in the main building and on an amenity barge between the NC piers. There is also a self-contained disabled toilet and shower with a wheelchair hoist. Coin-operated laundry facilities run around the clock in the Amenity Building, along with lockers and wheelbarrows for a small fee. A chandlery and sailmakers keep collection boxes on the forecourt.
Within easy walking distance you'll find Dun Laoghaire's shopping centres, a chandlery, banks, pharmacies and a multiplex cinema.
