About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Echinger Segel-Club e.V. is a private sailing club in Echinger Bucht on the northwestern shore of Ammersee in Bavaria. The club's own grounds hold more than 100 boat berths, reserved exclusively for members.
The club's slipway is very shallow, so only boats with a shallow draft can be launched here, and keelboats have no access to the lake from ESC. A crane and winch make it easier to handle even heavier boats when launching and hauling out.
The clubhouse is equipped with a toilet and kitchen, and a separate shower house lets sailors freshen up after a regatta. The club also has winter storage for a limited number of boats.
Right next to the club lies a lovely stretch of beach in Echinger Bucht, where children can play safely in the shallow, warm water while the Wasserwacht keeps watch at weekends. The lakeside bathing area has a restaurant serving refreshments and food, and from the club's south terrace you can look out over the berths and Ammersee with the Alps in the background.
