Gästhamn Kalvsund

Kalvsund guest harbour lies on the eastern side of the car-free island of Kalvsund in Gothenburg's northern archipelago, at position 57°43' N, 11°41' E, chart 931 SW/9313 NW. The harbour is part of a larger port area where KAS/Hamngruppen manages around 80 boat berths split between a northern and a southern harbour.

Depth at the berths is 3.5-4 metres. There are 6 guest berths, moored alongside. The 2026 daily rate is 250 SEK for boats up to 12 metres/40 feet and 325 SEK for larger boats (larger vessels such as Gratitude must pay the full daily rate even for a day visit only). Shore power costs an extra 50 SEK for day visitors. Payment is made according to instructions posted at the kiosk and on notices along the pier.

The harbour offers toilets, showers, drinking water, power outlets on the jetty, and a summer kiosk. There is also a playground close to the harbour.

The island is served by ferry line 296, connecting Kalvsund with Öckerö Färjeläger, Framnäs and Grötö among others - useful if you want to travel on without a car, since the island itself is car-free.
