About the harbour

Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026

Gemeentehaven Harderwijk comprises Vissershaven, Stadshaven and Strandhaven near Harderwijk's historic town centre, close to the Boulevard and Dolfinarium. There is room for around 125 guest berths, and during busy periods you may need to raft up.

The best approach to Strandhaven and Stadshaven is via the channel towards the Boulevard, while Vissershaven is reached along the Dolfinarium via the Waterfrontbrug. The movable bridges Waterfrontbrug, Dolfinariumbrug and Vischpoortbrug operate from 1 November to 31 March 9am-5pm and from 1 April to 31 October 8am-8pm; Vischpoortbrug opens twice an hour, Dolfinariumbrug once an hour and Waterfrontbrug twice an hour. In Strandhaven, day visitors with open boats are welcome at the Strandeiland quay 10am-8pm, while passing yachts may moor there overnight 8pm-10am for a maximum of one night. Harbour dues are paid via the Ease2pay AanUit app, though not available for Vissershaven, or to the harbourmaster during his late-afternoon round.

The marina offers two sanitary buildings, at Stadshaven and the harbour office, open 24/7 with a code lock; they provide free toilets, washbasins and hot showers, plus a washing machine and dryer for a fee. There are drinking-water points around the harbours and 220-volt/16-amp shore power at the berths. Waste points are located at Stadshaven and Vissershaven, and a pump-out for waste water can be found before the Dolfinariumbrug and opposite Strandeiland. Fuel and ship's chandlery are available from several businesses along the Lorentzhaven.

From here you can walk straight into Harderwijk's historic town centre, the Boulevard and the Dolfinarium.
