About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Gemeentehaven Sneek is a municipal marina in Sneek, stretching from the harbour office at Somerrakpromenade to Waterpoort. The marina flies the Blue Flag, a recognition for clean and safe harbours.
From 16.00 you pay berthing fees in the marina: €1.60 per metre per night without power, and €2.15 per metre per night with power. If you don't live in the municipality, you also pay €2.00 tourist tax per person per night (free for children under 4). You can pay by card at the harbour master's office or via a QR code at your berth. Bridges and locks in the municipality are operated 7 days a week during the boating season from 28 March to 1 November, and no bridge fees are charged in the municipality - however, fees apply at the transit locks in Makkum and Workum.
Almost all berths have shore power, and there are water taps at several points in the marina. There are public toilets with a disabled toilet as well as showers, open every day of the week from 7.00-21.00 (closed during the winter period from 1 November to 27 March). Tapping electricity from the toilet building is prohibited. If you're sailing towards Sneekermeer, you'll find a wastewater station on the left side of the marina and a wastewater/bilge water station at the aqueduct on the right. Towards IJlst there is only a wastewater pump at Lemmerbrug (Waterpoort), and towards Wite Brekken, just past the ring road, there's a wastewater station on the left side.
