About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Yachthafen Langeoog is the club marina of Segler-Vereinigung Langeoog on the German North Sea island of Langeoog. 60 berths in the western part of the marina are used by club boats, and visiting yachts may only moor where directed by the harbour master; there are also dedicated guest berths marked on the marina plan.
The basin silts up over time, so the marina normally aims to keep about 1 m of water at low tide and about 3-4 m at high tide; the bottom is soft, so even deep-keeled boats lie safely. The marina is well sheltered, with some swell only possible around high water in southeast winds from Force 6, when it is calmer further inside the marina. The finger pontoons are 8-10 m long. Diesel and petrol are not available at the marina, only on the mainland at Bensersiel.
Every berth has shore power and fresh water. Showers and toilets are in the clubhouse „Seglerheim“, which also has a washing machine and dryer. Waste is disposed of in the club's container on the dike (opened with the shower key), and there is a pump-out for chemical toilets at the marina. The restaurant „Kajüte“ serves food and drinks, and the kiosk sells ice cream and other treats; the harbour master can also arrange fresh breakfast rolls.
It's about 2.5 km, or a 30-minute walk, into the village, or you can take the island railway, which departs shortly after each ferry arrival.
