About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Hamburger Yachthafen in Wedel is one of Europe's largest marinas, located directly on the Elbe close to Hamburg. The marina has around 2,000 berths and can accommodate boats up to 22 metres in length, with a maximum water depth of 3.5 metres.
Guest berths are charged according to boat length: from €8.00 per night for boats up to 5.99 m, rising to €66.00 for boats over 20 m. Catamarans pay one and a half times the standard rate, and the arrival and departure day count as a single day. A 30-day monthly rate is also available, and guest sailors who commit in advance to the whole summer season (7 months) receive a 10% discount.
The marina offers shore power on the pontoons (6 or 10 amps), fresh water at the pier, and free use of showers and toilets/sanitary facilities for those with a water berth. There is a fuel berth on site, a slipway/drying area (€35.00) and a mast crane (€15.00) available. Parking is also available in the marina's outdoor car park.
The marina lies close to Hamburg and offers a unique maritime atmosphere right on the Elbe – tie up at the guest pontoon and experience the flair of one of Europe's largest marinas.
