About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Hara Sadam is a small marina in Kuusalu municipality in Estonia, located at the former Soviet submarine base, a stone's throw from Lahemaa and Hara island. The marina is run by Hara Sadam MTÜ and hosts local fishermen, the sailing club Hara Seilamise Selts and the restaurant Hara Sadamaresto.
Guest berths cost from €30/night for boats up to 10 metres, €40 for 10-14 metres, €50 for 14.1-16 metres and €60 for boats over 16 metres; a short stop of up to 5 hours costs €15. The price includes electricity. The slipway can be used for €15 per boat. Payment is made at the harbour shop or by bank transfer if the shop is closed.
The marina has toilets, showers and a laundry room, plus wifi in the warehouse. There are saunas (igloo sauna, smoke sauna and floating sauna) by the water, which guest sailors can use for free between 18:00-21:00 by prior arrangement. You can rent bicycles, and there's a bonfire/grill area as well as parking for cars and trailers at the top of the hill.
Walk straight from the quay to the former submarine base and the 'Saladuslik Sadam' photo exhibition, or take a short boat trip of about five minutes to Hara island. The restaurant NAGA Pizza & Köök is located on the harbour grounds. Tie up at the guest berth and take the short walk up to the sauna and restaurant while you explore the historic submarine base.
