About the harbour

Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026

Viinistu Art Harbour is located on Estonia's north coast in the Lahemaa area, on the Pärispea peninsula. The old fishing harbour was turned into a marina in 2010 with 24 berths. The fairway opens to the east, and the slipway is in the northwest corner. The north quay (60 m) takes vessels with a draught of up to 2.5 m and has two posts supplying electricity and water plus 13 stern buoys; the south quay (30 m) has a 2.75 m draught and 5 stern buoys, while a smaller quay on the west side with 1.5 m draught has room for 5 small boats. The season runs 1 May–30 September, costing 25 € per night, 240 € per month, 450 € for the 1 June–31 August season, and 600 € for the full season.

Visitors arriving from the sea have access to showers, toilets, water, electricity and waste disposal at the harbour. The slipway can be used for 10 €, and cars (10 €) or trailers (10 €) can be parked on the harbour grounds. The harbour rents out bicycles (8/15/20 € for 1 hour/2 hours/all day) and canoes, and offers a sea-view sauna, a tennis court, breakfast and boat transfers to the island of Mohni.

On the harbour grounds you'll find an art museum and a restaurant, plus accommodation. The island of Mohni lies 4.5 km from the coast and can be reached by boat transfer.
