Haven Middelburg

Haven Middelburg is an atmospheric town marina with Blue Flag certification, located in the Voorhaven on the Kanaal door Walcheren, which links the Westerschelde with the Veerse Meer – part of the Staande Mast Route. The harbour office with an arrival jetty is at the back of the Voorhaven near the Spijkerbrug, where the harbourmaster from W.V. Arne assigns you a berth along one of the historic loading quays close to the former VOC warehouses.

Advance booking is not possible. The pontoons have shore power and fresh water (bring your own hose), and there is a pump-out facility for waste water near the harbour office. The wifi code in Middelburg is Middelburg!22.

Toilets and washing facilities are found in the clubhouse "De Kemel", a former VOC warehouse on the Kinderdijk. At Jos Boone Watersport in the Voorhaven you can bunker gasoil and GTL fuel and shop for chandlery.

The marina sits among beautiful canal houses with VOC-era features, within walking distance of a lively town centre with a wide range of shops and restaurants as well as well-known museums and attractions. It's also a short walk to the NS railway station towards Bergen op Zoom or Vlissingen, from where a bike/foot ferry crosses to Breskens. Moor along one of the historic quays in the Voorhaven and stroll straight into Middelburg's charming centre.
