VVW Schelde

Jachthaven Schelde is a club marina in Vlissingen, located next to the Keersluis bridge. Coming from the sea, you pass through the lock and turn right before the bridge into the marina; coming from the Veerse Meer, you sail through the Keersluis bridge and turn immediately left. The marina has 84 permanent berths.

At the pontoons there is free shore power, wifi and water. There is a diesel pump at the marina – the last place to fuel up before heading out onto the North Sea, and the first after a long windless sailing/motoring trip. If you have problems with your propeller or engine, you can use the slipway for a fee, suitable for boats with a draft of around 2 metres and a maximum of 12 tonnes.

The marina has a pleasant clubhouse where you can have a drink and a simple meal. There are showers, toilets, and 2 washing machines plus a dryer. Across from the marina there is a chandlery.

The train station in Vlissingen is a 10-minute walk from the marina, and there are bus stops just outside the marina's entrance gate. Groceries can be bought at Jumbo or Albert Heijn, a 10-minute walk away, and Vlissingen's town centre is 10-15 minutes away. Berth at Jachthaven Schelde and stroll the short 10 minutes into town or to the station.
