About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 28 September 2026Marina Zea (D-Marin Zea) is a large, modern marina in the heart of Piraeus, Athens, located on the Piraiki/Pasalimani peninsula. The site has a long maritime history as an ancient naval base for the trireme fleet, and remains of the old naval walls can still be seen within the marina. The marina was fully renovated for the 2004 Olympic Games and today offers 520 berths on both fixed and floating pontoons, able to accommodate yachts up to 150 metres.
On arrival, contact the marina on VHF channel 9 to be guided to your berth. Depths at the berths can be as shallow as 2 metres in places, while other parts of the marina offer considerably deeper water. The marina operates year-round, 24 hours a day.
Berths have a 24-hour supply of fresh water and electricity, fuel is delivered via oil trucks, and there is a sewage pump-out station. The marina also offers modern WC and shower facilities, a laundry, a crane, a chandlery for boat supplies, free wifi and car parking.
Within walking distance you'll find restaurants, cafés and bars along the quay, as well as shopping centres, cinemas and the Greek Naval Museum, located right within the marina grounds.
