About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Heinz-Schleußer-Marina is a modern marina located directly on the Rhein-Herne-Kanal in Oberhausen, offering space for around 60 pleasure craft on a 10,000-square-metre site. Yachts with a draught of up to two metres can be moored along the surrounding quay wall or at the floating pontoons.
The marina offers pump-out for holding tanks, a 3.2-tonne crane for boat lifts, plus shore power and fresh water at the berths. There are hot showers and access to a washing machine and dryer, and day visitors can hire electricity for an extra charge.
Right next to the marina is Sealife Oberhausen, Germany's largest fresh- and saltwater aquarium, along with AQUApark Oberhausen, a mining-themed swimming pool. Just 100 metres away is one of Germany's largest shopping centres, CentrO. Oberhausen, and nearby you'll also find the Metronom-Theater, CentrO.-Park, Gasometer Oberhausen and König-Pilsener Arena.
Berth at the quay wall or pontoon and walk the 100 metres to CentrO for shopping and attractions right by the marina.
