About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 28 September 2026Helgeroa guest harbour is a municipally owned marina in Larvik municipality, beautifully situated amid a lovely archipelago on the Helgerofjord along the Skagerrak coast. The harbour offers 60 guest berths with good facilities and is run day-to-day by a private operator.
From summer 2025 the harbour is introducing the GoMarina app, which makes it easy to pay the harbour fee and gives quick access to all facilities - it is recommended to download the app before setting out. The harbour operates a high and low season, with high season running from 20 June to 31 August and low season the rest of the year. Friendly harbour hosts are on hand during summer for advice and questions.
At the pontoons you will find showers and toilets, a washing machine and tumble dryer, electricity points and water hoses, plus a crane. There is also fuel (bunkering), a free boat launching ramp, a kiosk and a street-food stall, as well as paid parking by the harbour. Nearby there is also a children's playground.
Helgeroa offers a charming atmosphere with short distances to lovely beaches, cosy restaurants and scenic walking trails. The coastal path runs right past the guest harbour and continues along Mølen's large pebble beach to Nevlunghavn, while the nearest bathing beach is Langholtstranda. On the pier stands the Nesjar Monument, commemorating the Battle of Nesjar in 1016, and you can also enjoy a round of golf at the nearby Fritzøe golf course.
