About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 28 September 2026Helgeroa guest harbour is a municipally owned marina in the village of Helgeroa in Larvik municipality, where the guest harbours in the Larvik district are partly private and partly municipally owned, with the municipal guest harbours of Stavern, Helgeroa and Nevlunghavn owned by Larvik Havn. The harbour is set in idyllic surroundings, surrounded by a beautiful archipelago, and offers 60 guest berths with good facilities.
From summer 2025, the harbour is introducing the GoMarina app, used in more than 400 harbours across Norway and Scandinavia, which makes paying the harbour fee easy. The 2025 guest fee starts from NOK 300 per night for a boat up to 30 feet without electricity, rising to NOK 700 for boats over 51 feet, according to local tourism information. The approach is described as straightforward with no shallows, although there is good depth around the piers, but sailors with a draft over 2 metres should avoid getting too close to Sydvesten.
Ashore you'll find shore power, fresh water for the boat, showers, toilets, a washing machine and fuel, as well as a children's playground. The boat association has also acquired a new crane at the harbour. Near the harbour there is paid parking.
Helgeroa offers a charming atmosphere with a short walk to lovely beaches, cosy restaurants, scenic trails and a varied cultural life.
