About the harbour

Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 28 September 2026

Hemmet Havn is a small fjord fishing settlement and former loading place on Ringkøbing Fjord, close to the village of Hemmet in Ringkøbing-Skjern Municipality. The harbour is a modest facility of around 1000 square metres and is today used, among other things, as a rest stop for canoeists and kayakers on the fjord.

At the harbour you will find toilets as well as tables and benches, so you can take a break and enjoy the view across the open fjord waters.

From Hemmet Havn a cycling and exercise path continues on to Bork Havn, and there is a cycle path running all the way around the fjord if you fancy stretching your legs and exploring the area on foot or by bike after a day on the water.
