About the harbour

Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026

Herkingen Marina is a modern marina on the northeast side of the Grevelingenmeer in the Dutch Delta, with 400 permanent berths and a varying number of guest berths right on the lake. The marina has held the right to fly the Blue Flag since 1997.

Entry is via a narrow, sheltered channel with a maximum depth of 2.10 metres; the marina lies at the end of the channel on the right-hand side. The guest berths are located directly on the Grevelingenmeer.

On the pontoons you'll find drinking water, electricity (coin-operated) and a pump-out for wastewater and bilge water. Ashore there are toilets and free showers, including a disabled toilet and shower, a laundry, a baby room, Wi-Fi throughout the marina, a car park with 6 EV charging points, a mast crane, a boat crane up to about 15 tonnes, and a high-pressure washer for maintenance. For children there's a playground, a dinghy slipway and dinghy area, plus barbecue spots and a restaurant on site. There's also a chandlery and bicycle rental at the marina.

Herkingen is centrally located in the Delta, and you can continue by public transport on bus line 138 to Oude-Tonge or Middelharnis. The area offers good opportunities to explore Goeree-Overflakkee on foot or by bike.
