About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026WSV Battenoord is a small, cosy club marina on the Grevelingenmeer in Battenoord, ideal for those seeking peace and nature. The marina has 77 permanent berths spread across four pontoons (A, B, C and D) plus a guest pontoon for visiting boats.
The approach allows a draught of up to 0.9 m, making the marina suitable for flat-bottomed boats, dinghies, sailing boats with a lifting keel, and motorboats. The boxes on pontoons A, B and C are 2.52-3 m wide and up to about 8 m long; wider boats are given an alongside berth, assigned by the harbour committee. There is also a 4-metre-wide slipway that visiting boaters can use to launch or moor temporarily.
Members, slipway users and guest boaters can use the sanitary building at Camping De Grevelingen from 21 March to 31 October, with drinking water, showers and toilets. The marina also has a parking area, benches and waste bins along the quay.
A cycle path runs along the dyke around the marina, offering views over the Grevelingenmeer and surrounding polders, and a lookout tower gives sight of birdlife and, in winter, flamingos. Moor at the guest pontoon and take a walk along the dyke to enjoy the calm and the view.
