About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Hochseeyachtclub Germania (HSYC Germania) is located tide-independent in the inner harbour of Wilhelmshaven, right behind the historic Kaiser-Wilhelm-Brücke. The club has around 44 berths for sailing and motor yachts, and larger boats can also find a spot. The marina is reached via the sea lock or the Jade-Ems Canal.
Guest berths are arranged through the harbourmaster, who is present on the club grounds from 17:00 to 19:00. A guest berth costs €1.50 per metre (rounded up) per night, including water and waste disposal; electricity costs €3 per day. From the harbourmaster you receive shore power, a water connection, a key to the gates, and shower tokens for hot water.
On site you'll find sanitary facilities and showers in the clubhouse, plus the restaurant Vina overlooking the harbour. There is also a spacious terrace with barbecue facilities.
Right across from the marina lies Südstrand, offering plenty of opportunities for swimming, strolling, and enjoying a meal. Berth in the front row by the Kaiser-Wilhelm-Brücke and walk straight over to Südstrand for a swim or a stroll along the water.
