About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 28 September 2026Hörvikens Marina is a guest harbour run by Kållandsö Marina Båtklubb (KMBK), located at the innermost part of Hörviken on Kållandsö near Lidköping, on Lake Vänern. The club has access to around 400 berths in total at the marina.
The guest harbour offers around 20 guest berths with alongside mooring. A speed limit of 5 knots applies in Hörviken from the breakwater and southward, from April to October, and mooring at the breakwater itself is only permitted temporarily for loading and unloading. Berths including electricity are paid for by contacting the restaurant, and a card terminal is available in the harbour.
The harbour offers toilets, showers and laundry facilities, as well as water and fuel at the pier. There is also a pump-out station for holding tanks. For launching boats there is a slipway suitable for boats up to 1,800 kg total weight, and a crane is available on weekdays from 16:00 to 19:00 between 1 April and 1 October. Ashore you'll find a restaurant and café, a mini supermarket, bike rental (with helmets, maps, child seats and trailers to borrow), as well as barbecue areas and parking.
Within walking distance of the harbour you'll find an InfoPoint and a sandpit for children, and you can explore the western side of the island on foot or by bike. It's about 7 km to an 18-hole golf course and about 6 km to canoe and kayak rental with a sauna raft.
