About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026HANSA-Segelkameradschaft Rhein-Neckar (HSK) is a sailing club based on Kollersee, the upper section of the Otterstädter Altrhein near Ludwigshafen. The Altrhein arm, said to be the world's largest, connects to the Rhine at kilometre 411, runs about seven kilometres long and up to one kilometre wide, covering roughly 225 hectares. Due to gravel extraction the water is in places up to 24 metres deep and rated good to very good quality, with constant water exchange from the fast-flowing Rhine.
The club's premises are reached via Speyerer Straße in Otterstadt; follow the signs towards the ferry, and the final approximately 400 metres to the jetty are covered on foot from a car park by a campsite.
HSK is an active sailing club with around 200 members plus 120 affiliated family members, offering youth work, practical sailing tuition and cruising as well as racing.
The area is a popular excursion destination and a versatile sailing area in an idyllic, scenic setting – head out to Kollersee and experience the calm, deep Altrhein arm.
