About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026YCOA Yacht-Club Otterstadt im Angelwald is located in Reffenthal (Angelhofer Altrhein) on the left bank of the Rhine at km 406.2, surrounded by forest in a protected landscape area. The marina has 3 longitudinal and 2 transverse jetties with a total of 100 berths for members and guests.
Approach is from the Rhine's fairway, steering diagonally across towards the Altrhein because of the groynes on the left bank; a speed limit of 5 km/h applies along the entire length and width of the Altrhein. Anchoring at night is prohibited, but YCOA always keeps berths available for visiting sailors, allocated by the harbourmaster.
Freshwater points are available along the jetties, and guests can get shore power for a flat fee. Waste is sorted into containers for general waste, paper, glass, and hazardous waste. There is a 12-tonne travel lift, though for members only, and free guest bicycles right by the entrance. The grounds also feature a swing and climbing frames for children.
The marina sits amid scenic surroundings in the Otterstädter Angelwald, a popular destination for motorboaters, sailors, and river ramblers. Moor at one of the allocated guest berths and enjoy the nature and free loan bicycles in this protected woodland setting.
