About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 28 September 2026Husnes Båthavn is the guest harbour for the village of Husnes in Kvinnherad Municipality, Vestland county, situated at the entrance to the Hardangerfjord. Husnes is the largest urban settlement in Kvinnherad and lies by the entrance to the Hardangerfjord. The marina has repeatedly been recognised as one of Norway's best guest harbours, including in Dagbladet's ranking of «Årets gjestehavn 2005».
The entrance channel is well marked, but be aware of a power line crossing the inlet where the clearance height under the high-voltage line is 20 metres. The fixed quay in the northern part of the harbour becomes shallow at low water and is not recommended for boats with a draft over 1 metre. The marina offers over 600 metres of guest pontoons where you can moor alongside, and a harbour host is present during the season.
The sanitary building has toilets, showers, a washing machine and tumble dryer, and there is a diesel and petrol pump in the harbour. A slipway is also available when needed. Within walking distance you'll also find a range of services, including a pharmacy, cash machine, chandlery, grocery store, electrician, kiosk, café and restaurant, plus fresh water and a waste station in the harbour itself.
By the harbour there is a lovely bathing beach and playground for children, plus two barbecue huts, and tennis, football, golf and beach volleyball courts are also located in the harbour. Kvinnherad Golf Club is situated just above the marina, and it's only 1.
