About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Sæbøvik Hamn is a guest harbour at Halsnøy Samfunnshus in the village of Sæbøvik, Kvinnherad municipality, in the centre of the island of Halsnøy. Sæbøvik Harbour is a new boat harbour with over 90 berths in the centre of Halsnøy, of which 50 new fixed berths are available for rent along with approximately 40 guest berths for visitors. The harbour features solid concrete piers and wave protection to the south, making it a safe and comfortable spot to dock, with sufficient depth also for sailboats.
The harbour offers both fixed berths for rent and short-term guest berths. Berth rent is up to 40 feet NOK 200 per night, over 40 feet NOK 300. The harbour is located together with the motorhome parking area by Halsnøy Kulturhus, right in the centre of the village.
All berths are equipped with electricity and water, and the harbour is accessible for people with reduced mobility. Bathroom facilities are located in Halsnøy Samfunnshus, which also has toilets, showers and laundry facilities. The area also has pump-out facilities for holding tanks and wastewater. By the cultural centre you'll also find a small playground with activities for children, and bike or kayak rental can be arranged through a local contact.
Right across the road from the parking area is a restaurant, and about 100 metres to the west lies Sæbøvik centre with shops, a bakery and a fuel station. Halsnøy Samfunnshus also houses a pub.
