About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Jachthaven De Hoop is a small marina in Amsterdam, located at Jachthavenweg 42 by the Nieuwe Meer. The marina has room for about 40-42 boats and lies in a green, pleasant area on enclosed grounds.
From the marina you can sail into Amsterdam's canals in under 10 minutes, and you can also reach larger lakes such as the Westeinderplassen near Aalsmeer, Braassemermeer and de Kaag. Most boats in the marina do not need to worry about opening times of bridges and locks in the area, giving access to sailing around the clock.
The marina offers shore power for the boats, and a professional boat crane is available. Staff are present daily, and there is ample parking at the marina.
From here it is a short distance to central Amsterdam and good public transport connections, including the nearby VU bus stop. Berth here amid the greenery at Nieuwe Meer and enjoy being close to both the city and open water.
