About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Jachthaven Paal is a tidal harbour near Graauw on the Westerschelde, just 6 km southeast of Walsoorden, on the edge of the nature reserve 'Verdronken Land van Saeftinghe'. A well-marked channel leads you into the harbour, which is run by the sailing club W.V. Saeftinghe.
At low tide the harbour dries out completely, so it is not suitable for fin-keel boats, but you can always stop for a few hours and visit the clubhouse.
The harbour offers shore power, showers, drinking water, a waste disposal point, chemical toilets and a wastewater pump-out. There is also a clubhouse with, according to the harbour itself, the finest terrace in Oost-Zeeuws-Vlaanderen.
Berth at Paal and step ashore at the clubhouse to enjoy the views over the beautiful Verdronken Land van Saeftinghe.
