About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Jachthaven 't Huizerhoofd is the largest full-service marina in Huizen, located on the Gooimeer in the Dutch Randmeren lakes. The marina has capacity for around 1,000 boats up to 15 metres in total, including 876 permanent berths in the water for motor and sailing boats from 5.5 to 15 metres, plus winter storage for roughly 450 vessels on the asphalted parking area.
You enter from the Gooimeer via a marked channel and turn to port between the breakwaters. In the fairway between the Hollandse Brug and Stichtse Brug the depth is at least 3 metres, with a clearance of 12.50 metres under the bridge; the buoyage on the Randmeren lakes is set at 1.30 metres, so it can be very shallow outside the marked channel, especially near the Hollandse Brug. The harbour office has seasonal opening hours, longest in June-August (08:30-19:00 on weekdays).
The marina offers spacious toilet and shower facilities beneath the harbour office as well as a laundry with coin-operated washing machines and dryers. Every jetty has drinking water, shore power (up to 6 amps) and free wifi included in the berth fee. Diesel and petrol are available at the manned fuel berth, which also has a bilge pump and free pump-out of waste/toilet water. A 25-tonne gantry crane can lift boats with or without standing mast, and a slipway makes launching easy. Next to the harbour office there is a fenced playground, and bicycles can be borrowed during summer.
