WSV Almere Haven is a well-established sailing club marina on the northern shore of the Gooimeer, squeezed between the Hollandse and Stichtse bridges (clearance about 12 m). Founded in 1977, the club is one of Almere's oldest still-active associations, with more than 550 members, roughly half sailors and half motorboat owners.

The harbour office is staffed daily from 09:00 to 17:30, with office hours 09:00-10:30 and 16:30-17:30; during the winter months of November through March it is closed on weekends. There is a slipway, but it is reserved exclusively for club members.

The marina sits right next to the municipal harbour, just a short walk from the pleasant centre of Almere Haven with its restaurants and cafés. Public transport gives quick connections to Almere Stad and Amsterdam.
