Jachthaven Vos

Jachthaven Vos is a marina in the idyllic village of Giethoorn in Overijssel, located directly south of the lock at Cornelisgracht, making it the closest harbour to the touristic village. The marina sits favourably on the Beukers-Steenwijk canal – a standing-mast route from north-west Overijssel to Friesland – and offers 110 permanent berths and 15 guest berths.

The water in the harbour has a depth of 1.70 m, and the maximum clearance height for entry is 10.5 m; the entrance lies 80 metres from the Giethoorn Zuid bridge. Just 10 minutes' sailing brings you to Beulakerwijde, the largest lake in north-west Overijssel, from where you can continue to Giethoornse meer, Blokzijl, or via the Weerribben to Ossenzijl. The marina almost always has a spot for passing sailors during the season, and winter storage is also available.

On site you'll find sanitary facilities, a wastewater disposal station, bike rental (including electric bikes), a washing machine and dryer, and wifi. The terrace serves lemonade, coffee, soft ice cream and milkshakes, and the harbour master is generally on hand.

Giethoorn's centre is just a 5-minute walk from the marina, and a supermarket is within walking distance. Tie up at one of the most centrally located harbours in Giethoorn and step straight out to explore the charming village.
