About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Kalana Yacht Harbour lies on the north-western coast of Hiiumaa in the village of Kalana and is one of four harbours run by Hiiumaa Sadamad. The harbour basin is sheltered from all directions, though the approach can be choppy with S and W swell. From WP 58°54.8872′ N 022°03.5691′ E follow the leading line 008.4°-188.4° and the lateral buoyage into the basin, rounding the tip of the south mole, where a light Oc R 4 s (3+1) shows after dark. Maximum depth is 2.8 m, maximum length 24 m and beam 6 m. The fishermen's pier has 14 berths and the regular pier 24 berths, 38 in total. Overnight berthing starts from €25 for boats up to 6 m and rises with length; the price includes the berth, water, WC and shower, waste disposal, electricity and Wi-Fi. A 7-night visitor card is also available from €195 depending on boat length. Call ahead to check berth availability.
The harbour offers toilets, shower facilities, drinking water, waste disposal, shore power at the berths, Wi-Fi, parking and bicycle rental (from €7/hour or €17/day). Life-saving equipment, a slipway and a visitor information point are also on site.
Right by the harbour you'll find the restaurant Kalana ÄÄR and Kalana puhkeküla, with a bus connection and a bathing beach nearby. Berth up at the quay, take in the view from the south mole, and walk straight over to the restaurant Kalana ÄÄR.
