Kalana sadam

Kalana Yacht Harbour lies at Kalana village on Hiiumaa's north-west coast in Estonia and is one of Hiiumaa Sadamad's four harbours. The marina has a total of 38 berths – 14 at the fishermen's pier and 24 at the regular pier – and takes boats up to 24 m in length and 6 m in beam, with a maximum draft of 2.5 m.

The harbour basin is sheltered from all wind directions, though entry can be complicated by swell from the south and west. From waypoint 58°54.8872′ N 022°03.5691′ E, follow the leading line 008.4°-188.4° and the lateral entry channel marking into the harbour basin, steering around the tip of the south mole marked by a red cylindrical beacon (Oc R 4 s). Guest berth prices start from €25 per night for boats up to 6 m and rise to €45 for boats up to 15 m; boats over 15 m are charged per metre plus metered electricity. The price includes berth, water, WC and shower facilities, waste disposal and electricity. Local residents and businesses registered in Hiiumaa Municipality get a 40% discount on seasonal fees, and a 7-night visitor card is available from €195.

The harbour offers toilets and showers, drinking water, waste disposal, shore power at the berths, a slipway, parking and free wifi, plus a restaurant. Bicycle rental is available from €7/hour or €17/day.
