About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 28 September 2026Kallhälls Båtklubb is one of Järfälla's oldest recreational associations, founded in 1921 in close connection with the Bolinders workshop industry. The club runs a harbour facility on the shore of Lake Mälaren at Godsvägen in Kallhäll, north of Stockholm, and today it is primarily a members' harbour with berths for the club's own boats.
This is not a regular guest harbour. Visiting boaters without membership are advised to contact the club in advance or instead use the commercial guest harbours further south in Stockholm.
The site has a slipway for hauling out and launching boats, as well as a crane used by members during the annual autumn haul-outs. The club also has a waste station where, among other things, contaminated waste from antifouling paint removal can be left. In recent years the club has placed strong emphasis on environmental work, and ahead of the 2025 season it is entirely free of boats with toxic antifouling paint following a multi-year clean-up programme.
The location on Görvälnfjärden provides quick access to large parts of Lake Mälaren, with excursion destinations such as Görväln, Munsö and Adelsö within a day trip.
