Kanustation Pleistermühle is located by the old mill Pleistermühle on the river Werse, just a few kilometres from central Münster. The station has been in operation since 1998, renting out canoes, kayaks and SUP boards for individual trips on the Werse, where the current is so gentle that you can paddle in either direction and return the boat to the same starting point.

Tickets can be booked up to 24 hours in advance through the operator's online portal, which also sells gift vouchers. Spontaneous rentals are possible on site, though without reservation, and on sunny weekends there may be a wait. Walk-in prices are €10 per hour for adults, €8 for reduced rate and €6 for children up to 14. Payment can be made by card, ApplePay and GooglePay. In September the station is open Friday 14:00-18:00, and Saturday and Sunday 10:00-18:00.
